On Sunday 23rd May, Footsteps held a bonus spring walk (in addition to our annual summer one), to celebrate being able to get outdoors once more, connect with our local environment, and learn about local faith & low-carbon initiatives.
Tahir Parvaz (TAWS) and Sam Ewell (Companions for Hope) led a walk around the reservoir, including showing us the gardening project. We finished up at the Buddhist Pagoda where Dr. Ottara Nyana told us about Buddhist teachings on care of the environment.
TAWS shared a video of the walk, interviewing participants along the way, which you can view below. If you don’t have time to watch the full walk, check out from 24:16 to 35:56 for a great view of the reservoir and to hear about the garden project.
Much enjoyed the walk. Many thanks.
However, when trying to see the video, just this message appeared on my screen:

Best wishes,

Sorry about that John. Have now shared the video from YouTube (rather than Facebook) which is hopefully more reliable.
