Birmingham Anglican Climate Action (BACA) are offering a Zoom meeting to share ideas about ‘Climate Sunday’ and holding a ‘climate themed service’ between February and 5th September 2021 when there will be a national Climate Sunday Service in Glasgow.
Churches are invited to hold a Climate Sunday during between February and September 2021, by offering a climate-focused service, to explore the theological and scientific basis of creation care and action on climate, to pray, and to commit to action. You can find resources on the Climate Sunday website, and a Climate Sunday Poster can be downloaded.
The BACA Zoom meeting on Monday 15th February at 7pm will be an opportunity to work with other churches on our commitment to the climate challenge. They will be building on and unpacking the recent ‘Climate Sunday’ resources, as well as:
- The theological scientific background information
- Practical Actions and commitments for churches and individual
- Contacting community and political representatives
