Guide to Sustainable Living – Muslim Resources

Footsteps’ Kamran Shezad has developed some educational resources for the Muslim community in order to encourage climate friendly behaviour. They are designed to be introductory, simple and easy to understand, and tie in to values from the Quran and Sunnah.

  1. Intro to Climate Change
  2. Food
  3. Transport
  4. Energy

We are invited to share these resources with any Muslim friends and contacts. Other faith groups may like to develop similar resources, and Kamran has indicated that he would be willing to share templates to help with this. If you are aware of similar resources for other faiths that already exist, please let us know at footstepsbcf@gmail.com

Kamran developed these resources in his role at the Bahu Trust, with input from Faith For the Climate, Religions for Peace UK, Islamic Foundation for Ecology & Environmental Sciences (IFEES) and the Mosques & Imams National Advisory Board (MINAB).
