Air pollution in Birmingham is above legal limits in places – our friends at Sustrans are inviting you to help change that!
Sustrans is building a network of Brum Breathes Clean Air Champions: Volunteers who will engage and inform their communities about air pollution. Your role will be to share knowledge about air pollution; its causes, effects, and how to improve the air we all breathe.
Sustrans will provide you with basic training on how we can reduce air pollution in our city. You don’t have to commit too much time. Are you worried about air quality but are very busy? You can help out just by chatting to friends and neighbours, or sharing posts on social media. If you have time we can provide more advanced training.
Sustrans would like to invite you to share our upcoming training sessions with your faith communities. They have been scheduled online through zoom.
This is the introductory Air Quality training and people only have to attend one of the following dates:
- 14th of April at 2-3pm: register for 14th April
- 20th April at 5-6pm: register for 20th April
- 29th April 7-8pm: register for 29th April
- 11th May 5-6pm: register for 11th May
