All are welcome to this multi-faith festival for local eco-action.
This will be a family-friendly day of activities and inspiration for the environment, with:
- fun activities and face-painting,
- fellowship and food (pay what you feel),
- speakers, including Liam Byrne MP,
- workshops with ideas for action.
We’ll learn from each other and launch our new initiative supporting grassroots faith-led climate action in Birmingham.
Register for Together for Nature.
Doors will open at 10am, when you’ll be welcome to visit stalls with family-friendly activities.
Then we’ll get some inspiration from our speakers, and join interactive workshops sharing ideas for actions we can take in the community:
- Community gardening & activities;
- Energy saving in faith buildings and at home;
- Young adult environmental leaders;
- Connecting with the outdoors – using parks and open spaces.
And we’ll share how our new project can support you to run local eco-actions like these.
Lunch provided: pay what you feel.
Hosted by Hodge Hill Church, Unity Hubb, Footsteps and Bahu Trust.

How to get there by bus
From the City Centre, take the X12, X13 or 94. They go from the Old Square, Priory Queensway. In Hodge Hill the bus is going along Coleshill Road and the stop for Hodge Hill Church is by Chipperfield Road on the left side of the Parkway and by Heathway going off on the right side. The church (postcode B36 8BG) is on the right side of the road, just past both turnings mentioned. The journey should take around half an hour.
Accessibility
Some on site parking for those who need it (we encourage those who are able to use public transport). The building is wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible toilet. A hearing loop system will be in use.
Registration
Registration is not essential, but if you are able to register, it helps us plan for numbers and means we can keep you updated about the programme for the day:
