Overcoming barriers to reducing energy use in Faith buildings.
Faith buildings with heavy use and high fuel costs are looking for ways to reduce their energy use. As part of Footsteps’ Project 4F, Ecobirmingham has been carrying out whole building faith building energy assessments and identifying ways of reducing energy use. These often involve significant expenditure for the faith communities involved and funding challenges.
This workshop is aimed at faith community members involved in making sustainability improvements at their buildings. It will cover funding approaches ranging from applying for grants to innovative crowd-funding.
The workshop will be followed by a networking lunch and optional study visits to close by faith buildings where Project 4F energy assessments have been carried out. Transport will be provided, please indicate when registering if you will be joining these.
