A walk to visit the Share Shack project and City Farm in Balsall Heath, open to people of all faiths and none.
Balsall Heath Share Shack (based at Balsall Heath City Farm) is part of “a series of community spaces for residents to connect with each other by borrowing, repairing, re-using and being creative! Share Shacks aim to strengthen relationships in communities, reduce waste, encourage people to share skills, borrow free tools and equipment, and learn something new.”
Balsall Heath City Farm is “an urban oasis in the heart of inner-city Birmingham with 50 animals and attractive planting.”
Meet at the Share Shack for 9:30am, the walk will begin at 9:45 and last for an hour. Refreshments provided.
We will be observing Covid guidelines under stage 3 of the government roadmap, including:
- The event will take place outdoors;
- Maximum 30 participants;
- Please maintain friendly social distancing from anyone outside your household / bubble.
How to get there:
- Bus: no.50 stops at Moseley Rd Baths, a short walk from the farm.
- Cycle: NCR5 passes through Balsall Heath, exit at Balsall Heath Rd and head East towards Moseley Rd
