Footsteps volunteer Toqueer appeared in a recent episode of ‘Imagining Tomorrow’, Friends of the Earth’s “hope-filled podcast about envisaging a positive future in the face of the climate crisis”.
The third episode is about decarbonising heating for faith spaces and other large community buildings. As well as talking to Footsteps, host Emma Newman speaks to an innovative infra-red heating company in Bristol and a New York Times bestselling science-fiction author. She imagines a future in which community groups redesign the function of former shopping malls to create third spaces that repair the fabric of society.
