People of faith, like many others in our country, want to get started on the journey to a low carbon future. However, there are obstacles to be overcome. Faith and community buildings may be out of date. Members may be struggling to reduce their fuel costs. They would like to reduce, reuse or recycle their possessions but don’t know where to go for help. This is particularly true of those who are poorest and most isolated.
But now help is at hand! Through Project 4F Footsteps has obtained funding to work with partner organisations to give advice and help in all these areas, and to spread the information through a regular radio programme.
The first of these radio programmes aired on Unity FM on 15th November, and you can listen below. This edition features Chris Martin (Project 4F Coordinator) Anne Dasgupta (EcoBirmingham) and Toqueer Quyyam (Muslim community organiser).
