Take part in our survey on clean air and health.
Dylan Mustafa, a sixth form medical sciences student, is carrying out a survey of local experiences of air quality and health issues during the recent lock-down for Footsteps as a volunteering project over the summer.
To complete the survey, just click on the link below and answer questions about your experience of air quality and its links with health issues:
The survey is part of a wider investigation that Dylan is doing into Covid-19 infection rates in BAME communities and the part that air quality plays. Reasons for the links have been widely reported in the national press and Dylan’s work will help provide a local picture from across Birmingham’s communities. This is part of Footsteps’ on-going work on air quality issues including the ‘Faith and Air Quality’ November workshops being planned with Sustrans.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and hit the return button before Friday 11 September – it will only take a few minutes and is an opportunity to share your stories about air quality and health over lock-down.
If you would like a copy of Dylan’s report when it’s published, simply click the box on the survey form.
Please share the link as widely as possible through your own community as Dylan is looking to identify differences in the experience across the whole of Birmingham: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PDQMLFR
