18-35 years old? Interested in eco-action? This webinar is a great opportunity to catch up with faith-based activism in Birmingham, be inspired by our talented speakers and make new connections.
Speakers
- Key Note: Sophie Mitchell, Solihull born interfaith activist, will share her perspectives on ‘Interfaith faith-based activism and eco-action’ based on her Masters research into the youth interfaith movement today and her work with the Faith & Belief Forum.
- Mia-Ming Steel, recent BCU Design for Future Living Student and Rooted City Project CIC founder, will share her take from the London Youth Interfaith Summit 2025 she attended for Footsteps .
- Mathew Ahluwalia, Ashden climate action, will highlight career benefits of volunteering and green job opportunities in the voluntary sector.
- Break out groups to help connect you with different aspects of faith-based activism and opportunities for eco-action in Birmingham.
- Dr Jeremy Kidwell, Birmingham University Theology Department, will be our host for the evening drawing out conclusions on the energy for faith-based activism and eco-action in Birmingham.
