Event Type

A few years on, school strikers from around the world share their testimonies of climate activism.

In this event you will have an opportunity to meet the two principle authors of the book, ‘The Nature of Change’.

There will be a reading from the book, discussion in breakout rooms and open questions to the authors.

‘The Nature of Change’ book was made by Imogen Hodgkins and Katie Riley, two prominent Birmingham young climate activists, as a project during lockdown. It contains powerful testimonies from their peers around the world at the front line of climate activism, often in perilous circumstances. Proceeds from the book and from the PDF of the book are going to climate charities.

Can we respond to the challenge of ‘The Nature of Change’ and join with climate activism in ways appropriate to us as individuals and in our faith communities?

The event is free, please register to receive the Zoom link:
