SUMMARY:Spring Faith Walk 2021
DESCRIPTION:We will be visiting Edgbaston Reservoir\, and learning about Bu
 ddhist perspectives on the environment - all welcome.\n\nA bonus spring wa
 lk (in addition to our annual summer one)\, to celebrate being able to get
  outdoors once more\, connect with our local environment\, and learn about
  local faith &amp\; low-carbon initiatives.\n\nWe will meet at the Buddhis
 t Vihara Peace Pagoda\, on Osler St. Then Tahir Parvaz (TAWS) and Sam Ewel
 l (Companions for Hope) will lead a walk around the reservoir (around an h
 our at a leisurely pace)\, including showing us the gardening project.\n\n
 \n\nWe will then finish up back at the Pagoda where Dr Maung Maung Kyi wil
 l show us round and tell us about Buddhist teachings on care of the enviro
 nment.  There will be tea provided\, please bring cakes or biscuits to sh
 are if you can. Toilets will be available at this point.\n\nChildren are w
 elcome and are the responsibility of parents or carers.\n\nPlaces are limi
 ted\, so please register in advance:\n\nRegister for Spring Faith Walk at 
 Edgbaston Reservoir\n\nWe will be observing Covid guidelines under stage 3
  of the government roadmap\, including:\n\n 	The event will take place out
 doors\;\n 	Maximum 30 participants\;\n 	Please maintain friendly social di
 stancing from anyone outside your household / bubble.\n\nGetting to the Bu
 ddhist Pagoda:\n\n 	Bus route number 80 stops on Icknield Port Road by Osl
 er St.\n 	Cycle access via NCR5 exit at Icknield Port Loop.\n 	Parking on
