DESCRIPTION:Following a successful online gathering Our Cities &amp\; Clima
 te\, Footsteps is holding four online workshops to obtain local community 
 and neighbourhood insights into the gathering’s main themes. This worksh
 op will focus on:\nJust Transition – exploring different ways to fund th
 e solutions\nRegister for Just Transition - Funding Solutions\n"the Counci
 l will lead by example and seek to be net zero carbon by 2030 – again en
 suring that this is just – taking communities with us\," - Birmingham Ci
 ty Council Climate Emergency Declaration.\nThis workshop will explore the 
 idea a just transition to net zero carbon\, and how Birmingham can find so
 lutions to fund the changes needed.  We'll begin with an introduction fro
 m Mike Clark (an expert on Green Finance\, who has advised the House of Co
 mmons Environmental Audit Committee) which will then be thrown open to fur
 ther contributions and discussion by participants.\n\nThe workshop will be
  feeding views and ideas from Birmingham’s communities into the City Cou
 ncil R20 Climate Emergency Taskforce.  In particular\, Footsteps would li
 ke to hear stories from communities and provide the Taskforce with a view 
 from the grassroots of what is needed and examples of what is already work
 ing well.\n\nThe event will be recorded to help communicate to R20\, and t
 o build a resource on the Footsteps website.\n\nPlease register for the ev
