SUMMARY:EcoPark Faiths Open Evening
DESCRIPTION:\n\nSmall Heath EcoPark Local Faith Community Outreach Event\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis open evening is aimed at faith leaders\, young people le
 aders\, environmental champions and interested people within reach of the 
 EcoPark.\n\nOur programme will include presentations\, activities for youn
 g people discussion and tours of the EcoPark.\n\nHidden in the middle of S
 mall Heath\, Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust's EcoPark is secr
 et wildlife oasis. The EcoPark now has a new Environmental Centre that wil
 l enable more people to come and connect with the nature on our doorstep: 
 offering opportunities for families\, schools and local residents of all a
 ges to get hands on with nature.\n\nFootsteps is teaming up with the Wildl
 ife Trust on Wednesday 20th July to connect the EcoPark and the new Enviro
 nmental Centre with local faith communities and their work with young peop
 le. We are also using the event to launch our Small Footsteps review proce
 ss and find out how faith and the natural world environment are intertwine
 d for young people.\n\nRegister for EcoPark Faiths Open Day\n\n\n\n\n\nPro

 vals\nPlease note that the entrance to the EcoPark is shared with the Eden
  Girls Academy. We will put a Footsteps banner near to the entrance to ind
 icate where to go.\n\nWe plan to keep the gate open until 6:30pm\, when th
 e main presentations start.  If you arrive later and the the gate is clos
 ed\, please ring through on the intercom to the EcoPark and we'll let you 
 in.\nSustainable travel to the EcoPark\nThe number 17 bus runs from Moor S
 t and stops just outside the EcoPark on Hob Moor Rd (Waverly School stop).
 \n\nThe park is a half-hour cycle from the city centre along the Grand Uni
 on canal\, and then up the 'Kingfisher route' along the River Cole\, turni
 ng off at Hob Moor Rd.\n\nFor those who do need to drive (e.g. for accessi
 bility) parking is available outside the environment centre accessed via t
 he shared entrance with the girls academy.\n\n\n\n\n\n
