Low Carbon Travel to Tread Lightly 2019

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Tread Lightly this Sunday (17th November) at Sree Ram Mandir, Walford Rd, Sparkbrook, B11 1NR (just off the Stratford Road). If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to do so!

Register for Tread Lightly

Below are some options for low carbon travel to the venue from Birmingham city centre:

Bus numbers 4, 5, 6 or X50 all go down Stratford Rd.  Once you go past Aldi on the Stratford Rd, get off at the next stop, and walk back round the corner onto Walford Rd. These buses all depart from Moor St, stop MS16.

The Mandir is a 20 minute cycle ride from the city centre – get onto the Grand Union canal at Fazeley Street, and cycle as far as Small Heath train station – as the canal starts to move away from the train lines, there is a ramp on Anderton Rd. Go up the ramp, and cross the bridge. Turn left onto Fallows Rd, and then right on Walford Rd. The Mandir is at the other end of Walford Rd.

Unfortunately, trains do not run to Small Heath (the nearest station) on a Sunday, so this is not an option.

We look forward to seeing you there!
